Audience Feed Back - Tailer

After having filmed the opening and the ending of our trailer, we uploaded it onto ‘YouTube’ and posted onto different social networking sites ‘Facebook’ and ‘Twitter’ to allows us to get audience feed back, to allows us to make sure that the trailer is appealing to our target audience and putting over the right impression. Along with seeing what we need to change.

We gain different comments from our audience to allow us to work out if the trailer is still appealing to our target audience and bring over the characters, plot in a way that appeals to the audience.

From what our said about the opening and the ending of the trailer, I found that we need to think more carefully about the way in which we uses music, making sure that it reflects the characters and does not take away from the trailer. Along with this we need to look carefully at the way in which we portray the characters, making sure that the audience gain the right interpretation of the characters.

Along with this I talked to different members of our target audience to gain their views on the trailer, from listening to what they said I found that most of the feedback was positive but we need to make sure that the plot comes over clearly. This should become clear when we film the next section. Through when doing this we need to make sure that we focus on making the storylines clear and that the characters are brought over correctly to appeal to the audience.

Music

I looked at different possible music for our trailer to work pout which sound would fit in with what we are going to show in the trailer and also appeal to our target audience making them interested in the soap.

This song could work well being that there is not a lot of lyrics and would work well in a trailer. The music has an element of mystery to it which works well for the feel of the atmosphere of the trailer and should get the audience interested in what is happening and the soap. However I am unsure if this music will appeal to our target audience.

This song would appeal to our teen age audience more. However I don’t think that the lyrics work with what we are going to show in the trailer, meaning that I would have to find a version with out any. This song is more upbeat which could work with our trailer and get the audience attention through might not fit in with want we are showing.

Again I would have to find a version with out lyrics or edited the song in a way that had lyrics when fit in with the trailer. This song would appeal to our teenage audience and get their attention. The song is up beat and would make our trailer come over in a different light.

This song would create a different atmosphere for our trailer but with out lyrics would have had a good mystery feeling that I want to bring over in the trailer. However I don’t know how well in will work because of the key changes and would also appeal to the older target audience.

Using this as our background music would give it a slower atmosphere, which I don’t think would appeal to our audience. Through with this I think that the music could fit in with what is being shown in the trailer and create that mystery element.

The lyrics used in this song would not work and I would have to find another versions. Though the beat of the music would create a fast pace element for the trailer and get the audience attention towards to trailer. However I don’t know if the beat would work with the trailer.
