Audience Feedback - Magazine Cover

For my magazine cover I showed I group of people that would be my target audience to gain the feedback doing this meat that I was able to see their view and if they understand what it is about. Also seeing if it brings over the different soaps and the characters.

1. What works well in this cover?

• The photos bring over the characters relationship and what could be happen in the soap.
• The use of the red makes it standout and links the cover together.
• The teasers frame the main image and make you focus on the main image. 

2. What does not work well?

• Some of the titles are not clear against the image.
• The master head covers the main image.
• Some of the colours don’t stand out well against the images.

3. Does it make you want to buy the magazine?

• Yes – it has different soaps on it and brings over possible storyline.
• Yes – the uses of the language bring over what’s going to be inside the magazine.
• No – I don’t know if it would standout against other magazine.

 

4. Does it make you want to watch the soap?

• No – there is not much information given about the soap but hits that they would be more inside the magazine
• Yes – The image brings over the characters and their relationship.
• Yes – The colours and front fit in with other adverts for the soap.
